40s Re-Lived! An MMSA Vintage Extravaganza!
A newly formed
section of the MMSA, the Middlesex Petrol Heads - MPH for short
- is hosting its first event on Saturday 13th May.
We'd love you
all to join us with your families and friends at Brooklands Museum
for the popular "1940s Re-Lived!" event, now in its sixth
and celebrating a decade of war, recovery, motoring, music and fashion,
suitable for all ages, lots to see and do!
As well as the
fascinating Museum, there'll be plenty of special exhibits, activities,
vintage shopping, dancing, live music and appearances.
Scores of period
vehicles, the Home Guard on parade, RAF Fighter Command demonstrations,
dance lessons and the Family Activity Zone where kids can help to
build Wellington Bombers - a small selection of what you can experience.
It would be great
to see lots of you dressed up in 40s style but you don't have to,
just come and enjoy the day!
We'll have our
own private room with a view and buffet lunch. Cost per person £25,
children under seven £12.50.
Please go to
the Brooklands website for full details about the event:
